But in the end one needs more courage to live than to kill himself!

When I ask myself ‘Am I scared of death?’ then a sudden answer comes from my heart is ‘No’! I am sad once again to read about the news of a suicide lately. An aspiring model from Delhi named Priyanka Kapoor Chawla have committed suicide due to the harassment by her husband, who actually fell in love with her before tying nuptial knot and later harassed her due to dowry. If this is true then shameful!

There still exist many families who believe in dowry system and can go to any extent to harass daughter-in-laws. But the point I would like to discuss through my blog is ‘whether suicide is the right option to quit?’ Personally I believe that committing suicide is one of the coward tasks that one can perform. Imagine you take birth from the womb of your mother and then kills your own living mother by killing yourself, just due to some failure in life. Almighty God sends you on earth to complete the tasks pending of your previous birth. You get up in the morning and thank him for another day to complete that task. Suddenly due to some rough phase, you take a dupatta and hang yourself to a fan. Sounds horrible!

According to the data of 2014, at least 15 suicides took place every hour in the country during the said year, which saw over 1.31 lakh people ending their lives, with government data also noting that Maharashtra saw the highest number of such cases while Chennai heads the list among cities.

Women are considered as one of the strongest and powerful creatures on the earth. Without them there is no life. I agree that the strongest person can become weak at times due to human nature but instead of confronting the rough phase with chin up, one kills self. That is unacceptable. The time has come to fight the odds confidently and celebrate the win, rather than losing and hanging oneself to the fan. Women have always remained my inspiration but such news makes me feel that what gets wrong with them? Why don’t they show their belief in Almighty and fight the battle, either with in-laws or during exams or job.

It’s a personal request to all the ladies who are reading this write up, to remain positive, confident and face every rough situation with utmost poise and trust. You are not meant to lose. You’re not meant to kneel in any situation otherwise I would start believing that killing yourself is easier and painless than living. Change your thoughts, change your life!
